Reviews
Typical cabernet sauvignon character, with sweet tobacco, red pepper and savory berries on the nose. Juicy and medium-bodied, with currant, iron and berry flavors. Tight-grained on the palate, with firm tannins and a juicy, savory finish. Already enjoyable. Ungrafted vines. Drink or hold.
A very firm and crunchy pinot with sliced strawberries, orange peel, hibiscus and lemon rind. Medium-bodied with lightly chewy tannins and a citrusy finish. Plenty going on. 30% whole cluster. Clones 150 and 777. Better in a couple of years.
A fresh chardonnay with lemon zest, green mango and white flower character. It's full and compact on the palate but shows an intensity and length that’s rather endless. Salty, lively and crunchy. Made with three clones: 95, 548 and 277. Drink or hold.
A complex nose of blackberry, plum, mocha, cigar box, graphite and spice. It’s full-bodied with fine tannins. Creamy-textured and structured with a juicy core. Pure with a velvety texture on the palate, which is layered and balanced and leads to a flavorful finish that lasts over and over. Spicy on the finish with cloves and black pepper. Grilled meat, too. A blend of 52% syrah, 34% carmenere and 14% cabernet sauvignon. From biodynamically grown grapes. Vegan.
Lots of graphite and blackberries with dried flowers such as lavender and sage. Aromas follow through to a medium to full body, fine tannins and a fresh and savory finish. Plenty of dark berries and forest floor at the end. 31% syrah, 28% carmenere, 17% cabernet sauvignon, 14% carignan, 6% garnacha and 4% mourvedre.
Aromas of dried herbs, bay leaves, cassis, ash and dark berries. Medium- to full-bodied with firm tannins and juicy fruit. Expressive and pretty long in the finish, showing excellent balance. Includes a touch of syrah. Drinkable now, but can hold.
